Sustainability: Alterations included a new boiler, upgrading of heating controls, solar panels, Rain Water harvesting and increased thermal efficiency of existing house with provision external wall insulation, and floors and roof. The Building Energy Rating (BER) of the house was improved from an F rating to a B1 rating.
